Equiscope® treatment is generally not painful. Most people report feeling a mild sensation during the session, such as a tingling or slight buzzing, but it should not be uncomfortable. The device uses low-level electrical currents, which are designed to be gentle and non-invasive.
However, sensitivity can vary from person to person. Some individuals might experience mild skin irritation or temporary discomfort, especially if the settings on the device are adjusted for a more intense treatment. If you experience any significant discomfort or pain during a session, it’s important to inform your practitioner immediately so they can adjust the settings or address any issues.
Overall, the treatment is intended to be relaxing and beneficial, and any discomfort should be minimal and temporary. If you have concerns about pain or discomfort, discussing them with your practitioner beforehand can help ensure a more comfortable experience
Every session is different, depending on your individual pain and goals. But most sessions last between 25 and 60 minutes.
We cannot perform this treatment on anyone with an implanted electrical device. If you have a pacemaker, cochlear implant or any other electrical device that is surgically implanted in your body we can't use this treatment on you.
